Adult Courses
Explore your infinite possibilities
Adult students have varied, and often very specific, goals. Whether you want to improve your TOEIC score, ease communication with foreign clients at work, or simply gain the confidence to help a lost tourist find your favorite coffee shop English Garden can provide you with a course tailored to your specific goals.
“Anyone who stops learning is old, whether at twenty or eighty.” -Henry Ford
We have three English courses targeted for different student needs, each of which can be taught in our classrooms or online.. Once a new adult class is formed we consult the students and decide on the the speed and contents of the course together.

Chatterbox
Chatterbox is an open discussion event with the teachers of English Garden. It's a great opportunity for adult students to practice the English they are learning in their courses. Chatterbox events are scheduled throughout the year, and are free for Garden Club members. Please RSVP for chatterbox using the events calendar.
Book Club
Book Club is a free monthly English literature discussion. English language short stories or poems of note are chosen by the club leaders each month. Our book club includes both native English and Japanese speakers, and discussion in both languages is encouraged. There are a limited number of seats available.
